Largest Online Stadium

This is a very clever idea that leverages the upcoming World Cup to collect leads.  It's called the Largest Online Stadium.  You go to their web page, pick a seat, pick a person, customize how you look, and identify whose fan you are, and then give the site your name, email, age, gender, your team and your country.Takeseat_031  See below.

Then you can communicate with other fans on the site (I bet when the World Cup is near, fans of each country will be sitting near each other). It's a social networking site forming around the World Cup.

Appears to be relatively simple and low cost to do.  Eventually the site will collect some 50,000K-100K names by the time the World Cup is near and start selling the leads left and right.  The World Cup is the biggest entertainment event on our planet (makes the NFL look like chickensh...) so there will be plenty of vendors who want to reach these fans and sell them something, tshirts, tickets, photos, clothing, you name it.  If they sign up 100K fans and get $0.01 per lead and sell the list to 100 vendors that's $100K made over a few months.  Not bad.  If they can get $0.10 per lead, that's a million bucks.

The site can be found at http://www.largestonlinestadium.com

Cool link - thanks

blogging about it at www.lindzon.blogspot.com

Cool, after Scotland, Chile and Ireland never got through this gives me [1] at least a virtual presence!

Turkey just missed out so you must be in the same position.

Woul be nice if you could animate them to get the virtual streaker and so on - now there's an ad-worth paying for (depending on the virual body you choose of course).

Pity i had to type in the authorization code 6 times (captcha is a pain), i prefer this http://204.13.211.142/puzil/
