One Day, Two Rare Events

Two rare things happened on Friday.  The first, normally never happens in California and the other maybe happens only in California.

It hailed and snowed in the bay area.  I didn't see the snow but the hail hit our house.  That was very rare indeed.

The second was also related to the weather.  I took my car for a wash, but the weather was rainy.  I asked the car wash person; "I want to get my car washed but what about this rain?"  The answer I got was (in a Mexican accent), "no prolem, we wash yu car, but save yu receip, if it rain in nex 48 hours, we wash again fre."  This could be only in California.

Location of said car wash? Seems like a good deal.

Ducky's on El Camino. Be charming and smile when asking.

I would have thought that only YOU would ask this question to a car wash person but not a weather man.

Regarding the sweet deal and the answer you got : I guess you were not the only one since they developed a policy for this.
