Doppelganger's vSide

I am very excited to announce our new investment in Doppelganger.  The blogsphere has done a good job articulating the essence of Doppelganger's virtual world, vSide and all that's left for me is to write about a few things that set them apart.

The investment follows a theme I've been writing on this blog; moving from "self expression to group action".  Doppelganger takes that concept and blends it masterfully with music, fashion and entertainment.  More importantly, they understand the basic human needs behind group behavior.  No virtual world can thrive unless it has a razor sharp focus on the basic human needs that make us who we are, and satisfies those needs.  Doppelganger is among the few that does that well.  That's just about all I can say without revealing too much.  The rest is for you to try, enjoy, and find out.
