...Labor. Congratulations.
Entrepreneurs beat the VC's in the final of the 1st annual "Capital vs. Labor" dodgeball game.
The labor teams showed better strength and agility than the capital teams even though one capital team had an ex-Miami Dolphin on their team. Thanks Greg for coming.
The MVPs of the Capital teams were no doubt Shawn Carolan of Menlo Ventures and Angie Strange of Bay Partners. That final stand was worthy a trophy by itself, Shawn.
The team I played in, aptly named "preferred" got eliminated in round one, but we re-entered the tournament with a new name, "team recap" but still got eliminated again. As Ping Li, wittily pointed out, this shows why it is always iffy to invest in recaps.
See you guys all next year. Thanks David and Hunter for organizing.
Well my Labor team was called Boot-Strapped and didn't even make it out of the first round, which just goes to show you that bootstrapping will only take you so far. :)
